My Pixel phone has an astrophotography mode I’ve never used. Tonight was cold and clear so I decided to take it for a spin. It takes about a minute for each capture and I propped it on a phone stand I have for my desk as a mini tripod.

@peroty You’ve encouraged me to try that with the iPhone 12. Night Mode is supposed to be similar.

All you need is a clear night, a warm coat and something to use as a tripod.

@peroty I bought a tripod especially for this function. I urgently need to take more photos with my Pixel 3 under a clear sky. Beautiful photo of you!
